Stripes & High-Waisted Cut Offs

High-waisted shorts are a great closet staple! Although finding the right pair can be tricky.....you want them to show off your figure, but you also don't want them to be too tight and have them give you a wedgie. To prevent this, I recommend buying one size up or getting shorts with a stretch material. It may have a bit more give and they shouldn't ride up too much. 

I paired my Madewell denim cut-off shorts with a striped crop top (similar here), denim jacket, and high-top converse. I topped off the casual look with a few choker necklaces, statement sunnies, and black suede cross body bag.
