Lace-Up Ballet Flats

On Sunday, my mom and I took a morning stroll around Sausalito. The waterfront offers great views of the San Francisco Bay and there are many cafes and shops to explore. The waterfront is also a great place to view wildlife! - We saw a couple of seals swimming around and pelicans dive bombing for fish.

One of my favorite spots in Sausalito is the Viña del Mar park. It has a beautiful fountain (from the Panama-Pacific Exposition in 1915) and plenty of grass to lay out on. We stopped at the cafe, Taste of Rome, for some chai and then headed towards the marina. There were so many different types of boats! They seemed great to take out on the bay and hang out on the deck, if only I didn't get seasick!

As we walked back to the car, we spotted this cool tile wall. The colors matched my outfit perfectly, so of course, I had to take a few pictures! This striped sweater is one of my favorites - I wear it all the time because it is classic and so comfortable! I paired it with my skinny blue jeans and added a POC (Pop of Color) with these red lace-up ballet flats. I completed my casual cute look with a black crossbody bag and gold rings. 

All in all, it was a great way to start the day! I then headed home to watch the Oscars! There were so many great dresses, but Alicia Vikander, Daisy Ridley, Lady Gaga, Cate Blanchett were by far my favorite.
